AWAKEN THE DREAMER

               Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream,
                      Merily, merily, merily, life is but a dream.

                    Sadly the dream of life has not been so merry! Many in our world have been rowing down the stream only to find disappointment, distress, fear, guilt, and discord. The dream has really been a nightmare!

                    I believe it is time in the history of humanity for us to Awaken The Dreamer!

                    There is a Hebrew scripture which tells us the state of most people's consciousness today. It goes like this: "When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion we were like them that dreamed." When we came into the captivity of time, space, and matter we became as dreamers.

                    Our dream told us we were separated from Source, mere mortals, limited, captive to the flesh, subject to death, disease, fear, and chance. The dream made us victims! Scripture reveals the solution; we have the power to awaken the dreamer out of captivity!

                    During 9/ll and hurricane Kattrina we heard many news reports on television saying we were experiencing a great Wake up Call. In truth they were more like snooze alarms. After reaching out to others, helping, giving, and serving, most people went right back to sleep! We went right back to the concept of I instead of our, me instead of we. We went right back to the dream of separation!

                    Our world is full of distractions. It seems the human ego thrives on distractions because they enable it to stay in the dream state.   We live in a drugged world. We're drugged by entertainment, Internet, war, poverty, and issues of all sorts. All of these enable us to hide from the concept of our own power and divinity.

                    We seem to relish the wonderful precepts of love, compassion, selflessness, power, and limitless potential. But we still see very little of these being manifested in our world. Why, because in the dream of being mere mortals, we live in self-deception, rationalization, denial, and all kinds of escape modes. It seems these concepts can only be fully realized as we awaken from the dream!

                    Our world needs to go into Rehab. At Rehab people are taken off drugs, face their issues, and transform their thinking. The Hebrew Scriptures describe this as coming to a place of nakedness, or transparency. They tell us becoming transparent, transitions us from fear to wholeness, and from selfishness to love! The problem is most are unwilling to become transparent even to themselves, fearful of what they may find.

                    The Dictionary defines transparency as; "admitting the passage of light, permitting a clear view." Last week I went to an acupuncturist. The whole basis of acupuncture is the belief we are energy beings and blocked energy brings pain and sickness. They place needles is areas of your body which unblocks the energy and allows it to heal itself. It is the same principle we see when we allow ourselves to become transparent. Becoming transparent unblocks the light, allowing it to flow freely and awaken us from the dream of darkness.

                    I feel many of us are still afraid of intimacy; we fear becoming transparent even to ourselves. The scriptures expose the very same story in Genesis. Adam (Hebrew word for mankind) entered a deep sleep and in his dream state, he became afraid and began hiding from his own divinity. In this dream he embraced fear, believed he was mortal, refused to face truth, and was never able to awaken.

                    Are we any different today? False perceptions and fear still keep many of us bound to the dream of separation and limitation. We still run from truth, embrace fear, and refuse to come out of hiding. And like Adam, who covered himself with fig leaves, we just keep covering ourselves with more, and more lies. Fig leaves were a type and shadow of false religious concepts, false beliefs of self, and man made ideas. All these coverings accomplished, were to take Adam deeper and deeper into the dream; it has done the same for us today in the 21st Century.

                    It took 4,000 years of the evolution of consciousness, for a consciousness to come forth willing and ready to loose fear, come out of hiding, uncover itself, and walk out of the dream. It was The Christ consciousness which came with the purpose of becoming transparent and unveiling the divinity within all humanity.

                    In scripture we see this consciousness look squarely at its false beliefs, bring them to the light, and deal with them. As it did, they dissolved in the light! Most of us say we do not believe in the devil. I say the devil is still in many of us because we have not dealt with the duality of accusing, condemning concepts and beliefs.

                    Right after The Christ heard the words in his heaven, "This is my beloved son in whom I am well please,” He went immediately into his wilderness of consciousness and dealt with his devil. Once he brought all false beliefs, concepts, and perceptions to the light, scripture says; "the devil leaveth him, and behold angels came and ministered unto him." Our devil is the accusing thoughts, beliefs, and concepts we still hold within our consciousness. Once we deal with them, they leave us and angels, or divine thoughts, awaken and begin ministering within our heaven.

                    Dealing with the devil allowed The Christ to fully awaken and walk from the dream of false beliefs. He awakened from thoughts which could accuse him, deceiving perception, guilty beliefs, and places to hide. There was no duality or negativity left within his consciousness! He allowed himself to become transparent and was able to awaken the dreamer!

                    To believe in a devil, is to believe in duality. Duality is a false belief in two opposing powers. This concept can separate us from our Source of all good! Yes, we say we don't believe in "a devil" but accusing, limiting thoughts still hold us in the dream. Only by becoming transparent can we forever be free!

                    Another scripture which brings illumination is; "Know the truth and the truth shall set you free." It is a key which helps us to awaken. It points us to the fact we are able to awaken the dreamer to the degree we know the truth about ourselves. Dealing with false beliefs and past perceptions, allows us to become transparent. Transparency admits the light to flow through us and dispels darkness!

                    To know ultimate truth, is to know there is only one cause and power! This power is in and runs through everything! It is the formless, invisible energy and intelligence of our Source - God. It becomes your only reality as you awaken the dreamer...your true self....your origin and identity!

                    By becoming transparent to yourself you will see the light of this truth dawning within you. Let me describe it to you....It has no beginning, it is birthless, no end, deathless, complete, perfect, changeless, whole, causeless, Almighty, self-existence, infinite mind, limitless intelligence, reality, I Am, creative energy, wisdom, joy, peace, light, and Love - It is Divinity - Source - God - it is your reality as you Awaken The Dreamer!

                    The Christ came and transitioned his world view of the past. We are here not to just change, because change can reverse itself. We are here to transform. Transformation is irreversible change!

                    As we Awaken the Dreamer, we journey towards the realization of our fullest potential as divine Beings. We find we have always been wired for mystical and spiritual experiences! It has been the dream which has kept us afraid and hiding from the truth of these higher realms.

                    Once we awaken we will no long see limitation, judgments of good and bad, duality or negativity of any kind? What we will see so clearly, is the infinite destiny we are able to fulfill!
