Why have you subscribed to these articles and maybe others?  Because the desire for your life to be different. You hunger for the experience of transformation life.  Your desire is for truth to become so alive, so embedded in every fiber of your being that it changes you!  This is a noble desire!  This press within each of us comes from the very essence of our being.  It is ever leading us into remembrance of the invisible realm of Spirit.

Recently I have been impacted by a very familiar scripture.  As I read it and researched it I began to see it in a deeper way.  It seemed to be another key leading me to the inner realm of my Spiritual being.

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and to keep himself  unspotted from the world."  James 1:27

Christ came to overcome the world of appearances and scripture is always revealing something so much greater than what it seems on a surface level.  Let me say first, it is wonderful to visit people which are alone or in need.  Our very nature is to give our lives away as Christ did in love and concern for all.  The error is to say this scripture is just about visiting a physical widow and the fatherless.

Pure religion is always about an inner conditional. A condition of knowing who you are and what you are one with.  The word religion in Funk & Wagnalls Dictionary is defined as: "The beliefs, attitudes, emotions, and behavior  constituting man's relationship to the powers and principles of the universe, especially with a deity."  Religion has to do things with cannot be seen by the physical eye.  It incompasses our relationship with God and the unseen powers and principles.

This word widow in the Greek means; "through the idea of deficiency, lacking a husband."  The root word means, "vacancy, an impassible interval, gulf."  This widow is a type and shadow of the soulish realm believing it is separated from its source, Spirit. The soul believes there is a vacancy within which is an impassible interval or gulf separating it from its husband the Christ Consciousness.

If we are in a place of separation we truly are in affliction.  Remember Christ said "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world."  Tribulation, or affliction can only bind us as long as we are living from our physical perception.   This scripture encourages us to visit those places within ourselves which seem to have a deficiency and are separated from God through a impassible interval or gulf.   Those places where a death consciousness has separated us from our oneness.  As we visit and listen to the voice within, it begins to bridge those impassible places and brings us back into remembrance of the husband within, the mind of Christ

We must also visit the place where there seems to be no Father.  A place we feel we are no longer connected and in union to our Creator.  As we visit, we awaken that connection and begin to realize we have never been a widow nor a fatherless being!  We begin to hear a loving voice tell us the words we have longed for, "You and the Father are one, you have never been fatherless and you have only been widowed by a death consciousness.  Once you awaken out of the dream you will find your husband and Father have always been within you!"

The whole purpose for these visits is to awaken our husband, the Christ consciousness within and to know the Father.  To begin to hear the voice of our source and let it direct and guide us into wholeness.

Have you taken the time to visit those places within you where there seems to be a vacancy?  Have you tapped into your inner being and begun to hear the voice of your Father?  Are you setting quiet time aside for these vistas?  Pure religion can only be realized if you do.  Pure religion is your connection to the divinity within you!

The last few words of this verse give us another great key.  It says, " To keep himself unspotted from the world."  The word unspotted in the Greek means, "stained or soiled from the world of appearances."  How profound!  We are to keep ourselves from being stained or soiled by what we see in this physical realm.  We are to major on these visits which keep reminding us of our divine and inseparable union with Spirit!

Pure religion can only be realized by visiting those places within your consciousness where there has seemed to be a vacancy. Visiting those places on a regular basis will enable you to enter the realm of pure religion. A place of no separation with your Creator, the infinite source of all good, love and joy!

Plan today to begin visiting the widow and Fatherless places within !

                    Loving All of You,
